In 2018 Dan became the Natural Resources Staff Officer for the Green Mountain & Finger Lakes National Forests overseeing aquatic, botanical, soil, wildlife, fire and timber programs.

The things he is most proud of, aside from his family, are the partnerships and relationships he has had the honor of growing and supporting while serving with the US Forest Service.

Dan and his family make their home in Rochester, Vermont, along the banks of the White River.  He is blessed with an incredible wife, Margaret, and two awesome adult children, Liam and Jorah.  His 9 siblings and 52 nieces are strewn up and down the east cost from Florida to Maine.
