Glad you’re joining us for the first annual Battenkill Fly Fishing Festival! We have so much lined up for you: keynote speakers, workshops, and the film festival. Not to mention the craft beer tent and live music! All of this is in front of the beautiful backdrop of the Battenkill and the gem of Arlington, VT. We’ve put together this guide to help you make the most of your visit.

Food and Dining
Don’t wait until the weekend to figure out where you are eating!
Important: Make your lunch and dinner plans by April 23nd.
Arlington is a small town, a 15-minute drive from neighboring towns, so reserving lunch and dinner plans is encouraged. Sign-up early on our website. We have various options, from boxed picnic lunches and restaurants to Italian buffets for dinner.
Once you are here:
The Arlington Common, located at 3938 Route 7A, Arlington, VT, is the host and Festival headquarters for the Battenkill Fly Fishing Festival. Parking is limited at The Common (to park on-site, please purchase a parking pass on our website). There is ample space at the Arlington Recreation Park just down the street (shuttles will be available, or you can walk), the Arlington Yellow Barn, or street parking. Maps will be available at registration.
Shuttles will constantly run from 8:30 am until 9:30 pm on Saturday between the Arlington Recreation Park and The Arlington Common.
The registration and information desk will be in the Watkins House at The Arlington Common. You must check in here to get your festival bracelets, parking passes, or tickets to be able to enter any of the festival events.

Sunday 8 am-12 noon
Dogs are welcome as long as they are leashed at all times and with their owners. No dogs are allowed in the buildings unless they are service dogs. Please find the dog station for water and pet waste supplies.

Watkins House at the Common
Thursday, April 28th, 6 pm-8 pm
Join the artists and other anglers for a sneak peek of the Back to the River: Scenes from an Angler’s Paradise exhibit and a silent auction with unique fly fishing trips, equipment, and art. The evening will raise money for the Battenkill Home Rivers Initiative. Please see our events page for more information and to register. $100 a person (not included in Weekend Pass)

International Fly Fishing Film Festival
Friday and Saturday nights, 6:30 pm- 8:30 pm
Watch a collection of short and feature-length films produced by professional filmmakers from all corners of the globe. For more details, see the about page on our website. Films are the same each night.
Fitness Center at The Arlington Common

Visit our fly tyers and conservation projects tables in the Fitness Center.
Friday and Saturday Nights
Arlington Common and Arlington Inn

Visit our craft beer tent and taste Lawsons, ZeroGravity, Browns, Liambru Tasty, and Montucky beers. Also, Shacksbury Cider! Live music both nights. To enter the beer tent, you must be over 21.
