Green River Tree Planting

Location: Sandgate United Methodist Church Parking Lot, 3458 Sandgate Road, Sandgate, Vermont 05250.

Join Trout Unlimited for a native tree planting on an important tributary of the Battenkill in Sandgate. Presented in tandem with the Battenkill Fly Fishing & Arts Festival and supported by the Battenkill Watershed Alliance, Bennington County Regional Commission, and Trout Unlimited, this hands-on event is a meaningful way to take part in the stewardship of our home waters. Tools and gloves will be provided, and participants are encouraged to bring work boots and a refillable water bottle. The planting begins at 10:00 AM and is expected to wrap by mid afternoon.
