Buy a chance to own a beautiful, original oil painting, Fishing the Battenkill, by Douglas David.

Douglas’s work has been chosen for many private and public collections, including the Vice President’s residence, the United States Embassy to Sierra Leone, and most recently, by request of Ambassador Donnelly, the United States Embassy to the Holy See (Vatican City). Douglas was hooked on fly fishing about a year ago after an invitation to fish with guide, Brew Moscarello. The painting is worth $3,000.

Raffle tickets are 1 for $50, 2 for $75, and 3 for $100. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Arlington Common to support community wellness programming. after-school programs, workshops, and community events.

The winning ticket will be chosen on Saturday, May 2nd, at the Battenkill Fly Fishing Lawson's Beer Tent at 8 pm at the Arlington Common.  The winner need not be present.
