Sunday Morning: The Fly-Tyer’s Afterglow
As the BFFAF5 begins to wind down, the energy shifts from the excitement of the main stage to the quiet artistry of the vise. This is the "insider’s hour"—a laidback, Sunday morning session where the crowds have thinned, and the conversation flows as freely as the thread.
Pull up a chair in the Fly-Tying Discovery Center for a final, intimate look at the masters at work. A dedicated group of the Northeast’s finest tyers will still be at their benches, focusing on the timeless, classic patterns of Maine, the Catskills, and our own Battenkill. It’s the perfect, low-pressure time to ask that one technical question or simply watch a master finish a perfect wing.

“Mountains, Valleys and Rivers”: The Final Gallery Walk
Before the 5th Annual Battenkill Fly Fishing & Arts Festival officially concludes, take one last opportunity to immerse yourself in the artistic soul of the valley.
As the festival winds down, the Watkins House offers a peaceful sanctuary to reflect on the weekend. This is your "last look" at a premier collection of works. It’s the perfect, quiet bookend to your festival experience—allowing you to appreciate the landscape on canvas one more time before heading back to the water.
